  • Septic Tank Tank Services by SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services From beginning to end, it was a fantastic experience. Scheduling was simple and straightforward. They offered next-day service, but I had to postpone it for a couple of days because of other commitments. Derek got to work straight away and did the job in about an hour, which included a thorough cleaning up after himself. The cost was less than what I had spent to another firm five years before. I’m going to utilize them again
  • Septic Tank Tank Services by SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services I was not present, but the family member who was present said that everything went smoothly. Excuse me for not being able to provide more specifics, but this happened several months ago and I don’t recall much about the service other than that the phone person was courteous and that the job was completed on schedule. • SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services They arrived on schedule and were quite helpful and kind throughout the process. Answered all of our queries in a kind and professional manner. The project was completed in a short period of time. SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services is owned and operated by Kirk G. I was quite pleased with the service provided by SepTek (Steve B.). Steve arrived on time at 0808 for an 0815 appointment and walked me through the process of the clean-out, as well as going above and beyond to educate me on septic tank operations and routine maintenance, as this was my first experience with a septic tank. Steve was extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire process. Steve was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about what he does for a living – which was especially impressive considering that the only knowledge I have on this subject comes from what I’ve read and researched on the Internet. Steve was also extremely patient and understanding with me. The cost of the service was $255.00, which I considered to be a very acceptable and competitive pricing when compared to other services available in the area. I would absolutely suggest SepTek to anybody who needs septic service for their house because of the combination of reasonable pricing and excellent service (particularly if other techs at SepTek are as outstanding as Steve). Thank you very much, Steve and SepTek! “Another satisfied customer!” says the signer. SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services is owned and operated by Jon M. My overall experience was excellent! Danny had been referenced in a number of reviews that I had read. I was hoping that I would be able to get Danny to come out and assess our septic system. Danny, it turned out, was the one who came up. What a wonderful individual! They were really kind and helpful, and they took every opportunity to educate me what I needed to know about septic systems. He gave us a thumbs-up for our system. Danny and his assistant performed a fantastic job on the project. We will consider employing Septek in the future for our septic system requirements. We were able to take use of an Angie’s List voucher for our inspection, which resulted in a fantastic deal. Septic Tank Tank Services by Kandice K
  • SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services Danny is just fantastic! He is an excellent lecturer, and he assisted me in understanding how to properly maintain my septic system. He pumped the tank and took the time to explain how the system worked to me. He is a fantastic service provider, and I am delighted to give him my best endorsement. SepTeK Septic Tank Tank Services is owned and operated by Paula B. Danny arrived on schedule, just as he had promised. He walked us through the entire process and provided us with great information on how to treat our system with biologicals, the frequency of service, and how to keep tree roots out of the system, among other things. He is well-informed, diligent, and pleasant to be around. Septek and Danny come highly recommended by me. Top Line Home Inspections, LLC is owned and operated by Tom S. The house inspection went quite smoothly. Sherman was really professional and thorough throughout the process. As predicted, it was a wet and miserable day, and I expected the inspection to be canceled. However, he arrived earlier than planned and stated that it was an excellent day for an inspection because any leaks would be visible. I really like the fact that I was able to have a house inspection as well as well and septic inspections in one go. It eliminated the need to shop around for a large number of different firms. • Dooley Septic Services, Inc. -ProRooter-Pro Plumbing is an abbreviation for Professional Rooter and Plumbing. My appreciation for the two experts who worked in my elderly folks’ yard today cannot be expressed strongly enough! According to my father, “they were two committed laborers who were really nice during the entire time they were digging in temps of 90 degrees or more.” They cleaned up after themselves and left the yard in good condition
  • All it needs now is a little grass seed. This firm comes highly recommended by us. Ann D., et al. They phoned to let us know they were on their way, and they came just on time. When they finished pumping out the tank, they stated that the tank was in fine condition. It was discovered that there was an issue with the line coming from the home, which had nothing to do with the septic tank. However, they advised that a plumber come in and scope the line with a camera in order to determine the extent of the damage. This will be completed within the next week or two, as I have scheduled it. The two AAA Wastewater representatives were really helpful and friendly! I would hire them again in a heartbeat and would be delighted to refer them to anybody in need of septic treatment! I was surprised to see that the amount was less than I anticipated! This organization has provided me with excellent service, and I am quite satisfied! It was supplied to me without my asking for a senior discount, which made the entire amount even more affordable. Improvements

The Urbana WRF began a new plant design and upgrade study in early 2006, despite having made very little capital investments over the previous 15 years. A construction offer by Dugan and Meyers was accepted by the City of Urbana after several years of design and planning. The oxidation ditch plant will have an average design flow of 4.5 MGD and a peak flow of 9.25 MGD, with an average design flow of 4.5 MGD and a peak flow of 9.25 MGD. Beginning in September 2013, work on the project began. By May of 2015, the great bulk of the new plant’s facilities were up and running.

The construction project was finished in late September of this year.

Urbana WRF began designing a Solids Handling Upgrade in late 2018, which will involve upgrades to the primary clarifier and secondary sludge pumping capabilities.

Septage Receiving

In addition, the City of Urbana administers and maintains a Septage Receiving Facility, which currently has 15 registered haulers on the books. Our facility receives roughly 4 million gallons of septic tank trash each year on average, with the majority of this garbage coming from Champaign, Clark, and Miami counties.

We, the staff of the Urbana Watershed Restoration Foundation, work hard to meet and/or exceed the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit restrictions in order to safeguard the interests and recreational uses of the Mad River watershed and its watershed.
