State RequirementsApprovals
Our tanks must comply with a variety of health code standards that are in place across the United States. These codes are governed by the state or county in which you live, depending on your location. Please speak with your local health agency for assistance in choosing the tank you require.
Bruiser Septic Tank Standards:
- Tank that has been rotationally molded into a single component that is seamless and waterproof
- Neither soil chemicals nor sewage gases have an effect on polyethylene. Tanks made of polyethylene will not rust or corrode. Strict quality standards guarantee that the septic tank is safe for the environment. Connections to the plumbing system according to Schedule 40
- Standard plumbing is something that all area installers or professionals are familiar with. Extensions for the risers are not included. Excellent shipping item that is virtually unbreakable.
Frequently Asked Septic Tank Questions
- 1. Is it possible to put a bruiser septic tank beneath a driveway? No, placing a plastic bruiser septic tank beneath a driveway is not authorized and will invalidate the manufacturer’s guarantee. Keep tanks out of the line of heavy and vehicle traffic regions, and don’t put them beneath driveways. If you’re looking for bedding or backfill, a sand/gravel mixture (sometimes known as “pea gravel”) is a good option. (Please refer to the installation instructions above.) 3. Is it possible to utilize a septic tank above ground? Underground plastic septic tanks are intended for use solely below ground. They are not intended for above ground usage. The use of above-ground storage tanks may result in the tank’s distortion and degradation. When compared to underground storage tanks, it is significantly more cost-effective to employ an above-ground storage tank that has been particularly constructed for above-ground uses. 4. Is it possible to keep hot water in plastic septic tanks? Do not expose the tank to water temperatures more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum storage temperature for polyethylene storage tanks is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Containments with a temperature greater than 120 degrees Fahrenheit, even for a short period of time, might degrade the structural integrity of the tank and making it more prone to deformation and collapse
- 5. How do you gain access to underground plastic septic tanks? Each underground plastic septic tank is supplied with manhole access hatches, which allow you to gain access to the tank (1 or 2 depending on tank). Additionally, risers can be placed to the top of the tank to provide for access from the ground level. A riser would save you from having to dig up the dirt above the manway in order to get access
- Otherwise, 6. Is it possible to pick up a plastic septic tank in the area? In most circumstances, yes. You must place an order in advance in order to pick up a plastic septic tank and save money on shipping. When you are notified that your tank is ready for pickup, Plastic-mart will offer you with a six-digit trip number that will allow you to come in and pick up your tank Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Plastic-mart and the local producers are grateful for the chance to provide local pick-up as well as the collaboration necessary to ensure that the process is as efficient as possible.

Norwesco Septic Tanks
Our Norwesco spherical pump-out tank, which holds 300 gallons, is a popular type. Due to the fact that this tank arrives to us with neither an inlet nor an outlet, it is perfect for use as a pump-out septic tank at a cabin or workshop, a small house, or even a basement suite for a renter suite that will only be used on a periodic basis. The inlets and outlets on these are four-inch inlets with sewage tees, and the outlets are also four-inch. Thus, connecting to an existing field or becoming a part of the overall septic system is simple.
- It’s simple to put together, it’s lightweight, and two people can easily hoist it into the back of a pickup truck and put it in place whenever you need it.
- Typically, this is a pump-out chamber or a section of an existing septic field.
- Alternatively, you may connect it to an existing field by installing a four-inch outlet and routing it to a different field for further distribution.
- It will also be ideal for septic tank upgrades.
Our 1,000-gallon low profile two-chamber septic tank is our most popular piece …
. which we have on hand at all times. There are four-inch inlets and four-inch outlets included with this unit. In between, you have a 60-40 split for distribution, which ensures that all of your waste is adequately digested. Two people can easily lift and carry our 1,000-gallon tanks with a pickup truck, allowing you to install them at your convenience at any time. No matter how many people live in a house, our low-profile tanks hold 1,250 and 1,500 gallons and are suitable for six and eight-person households with permanent occupancy.
You will receive the 4-inch in and out, as well as all the sewer tees, which will be ready for connection to your current or new septic system.
Because these tanks are small and lightweight, we are able to send them anywhere in the world.

Norwesco buys RRM’s business in septic tanks
The largest rotating molder of septic tanks in North America has expanded its operations. Norwesco Inc. announced on September 19 that it had acquired the septic tank business of Rochester Rotational Molding Inc., which included a factory in Lakeland, Fla., with one huge double-shuttle machine and around 20 people. Norwesco will employ the molds from RRM’s headquarters facility in Rochester, Indiana, which will be moved to its factory in Washington Court House, Ohio, as part of the transaction.
With the addition of two rotomolding machines, RRM, which is owned by the husband-and-wife combination of Marilyn and Allen Wade, will continue to operate in its Indiana facility.
According to Marilyn Wade, a prominent industry activist who served as the Association of Rotational Molders International president in 2000, the company is now developing some of its own original goods in another line.
Even though Norwesco is a large company, it has yet to break into the Florida septic industry, according to Thomas Smith, president and chief executive officer of the St.
The above-ground portion of our business in Florida is significant, but the below-ground portion is minimal.” As a result, Rochester was the ideal purchase for us,” Smith explained.
Norwesco currently has 15 factories and more than 30 machinery as a result of the addition of the Florida operation.
In this case, he explained, “we’re looking for niches like this where we can go after a state or get some significant market share.’ The RRM Florida facility, which was the company’s second site, opened its doors in early 2004.
Because of its high water table, Florida is considered a difficult septic tank market to operate in.
Norwesco authorities are attempting to determine how to combine the septic tanks of Rochester and Norwesco.
There were no representatives from Norwesco or Rochester in attendance at the conference.
Accord to a list issued by Plastics News in August, Norwesco is the fifth-largest rotomolder in North America by production capacity. RRM was placed No. 57 on the list, with revenues of $5.7 million, although the company is well-known in the rotomolding industry.
