It is recommended that venting systems be sized to provide for a maximum pressure or vacuum of 1/2″ water column (0.018 PSI) in polyethylene water tanks when used for water storage exclusively at atmospheric pressure. The tank is composed of BPA-free and FDA-approved materials. The resin is produced in NSF-certified manufacturing facilities. The tank must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for usage and installation in order for the warranty to be valid. According to the tank manufacturer’s guidelines, flexible connectors must be used on all fitting connections.
